Since 1999, The New England School of Whole Health Education has provided, free of charge, to physicians, clinics and hospitals utilizing Patient Health Education services of certified NIWH graduates:

(1) A comprehensive Billing Manual, prepared by a nationally certified billing and coding expert, and a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, which details how you may utilize and bill for medically necessary patient health education in your practice.

The appropriate CPT code and billing for such service is reimbursable by all major insurance providers.

Patient health education may be provided to the physician's patients by individuals qualified to provide such medically necessary services: nursing professionals, medical assistants, certified health educators, physician assistants and others.

(2) A phone consult at no charge, with Dr.Georgianna Donadio, Medical Educator and Program Director of NIWH, will provide you with information to access our on-line Physician Tutorial on Billing and Coding protocols for Patient Health Education reimbursement.
